My Ragdoll Cat Adventures Part Two

June 19th Blog Post 122 Birds and Dogs

They all went running after Mrs B blackbird who landed on the lawn this yesterday morning. I went helling after them. Thankfully they stopped before the fence. They certainly have that predator instinct in them!

Had a bit of a scare on Friday evening. Just before I was going to go to bed, I went outside for some ‘fresh air’ and it was about 10 pm so was getting dark. I saw this small dark thing running at me and at first I thought it was cat. Then I realised it was a chi hua hua! My neighbour opposite me whose garden is adjoining to mine and we share a fence. They have five dogs who bark a lot and a very annoying. The chi hua hua must have tunnelled under the fence and then got into my garden. It scared the life out of me! Thankfully, it was quite cute and friendly and rolling on its back wanting tummy rubs! The boys were all glued to the patio door watching me in horror. I was not entirely sure what to do. I really could not be bothered the carry it back to the house so I was hoping it would go back the way it came in. I ‘encouraged’ it to go back under the fence and it eventually got the idea and crawled its way back.

After that, boyfriend did his best to block the gap with some wood and wire fencing I had left over from the catio build. Bloody dogs! The boys were sniffing that area the next day as they could obviously smell chi hua hua there!
