Ragdoll Cat Adventures Blog Part 2

20th June Blog Post 20 He Is Getting Better

Charlie is definitely on the mend now. He is taking his antibiotics like a champ. I think the tablets are flavoured as he does not seem bothered about taking them and they are really small which helps. He is back to being his naughty and playful self and running around Leo and having brotherly scraps as usual. You would never believe he was so poorly 3 days ago.

I am so thankful it was nothing too serious and the vet was brilliant and so kind and helpful.

He looks funny with his two little shaved patches of fur but I think they will grow back quickly. The vet weighed him and Charlie is 4 kilos! I am guessing Leo is about the same as well. Their fur is getting longer and they are growing length-ways as well as width-wise.

I still think Charlie’s round tummy is a bit odd but I think it’s just genetics. Tom had a little round tummy when he was little so I think it is just how they are. I love stroking his tummy at the moment with the shaved patch, you can see his little nipples it’s so cute!

I am thinking of getting Charlie and Leo neutered soon but will wait till Charlie has finished his antibiotics and he has hopefully forgotten about the trauma of the vet visit!
