I love watching their bonds grow. Jack and Tom have now been living with Charlie and Leo for six weeks. It is hard to believe that in the first few days there was so much hissing and growling. They look like they grew up together now. Tom often licks Charlie (cleaning his bum for him sometimes) and Charlie loves to snuggle up to him. Leo likes to snuggle up with Jack and Jack is much more accepting of it now and he often gives him a lick or two. The affection they have for each other is so obvious now. I cannot imagine there being only Jack and Tom. It makes me feel less guilty when I leave them alone in the house now as I know they will play together and will never be lonely. Although they will miss me of course as I am their mummy! When I was taking a little nap today, Tom came up and laid on my lap (he is quite heavy) and the little Charlie comes up as well and sits on my chest and licks my face. Then Tom starts licking Charlie. It’s so cute and I can definitely feel the love!

What Is A Ragdoll Cat?

The Ragdoll cat as legend has it, was descended from Josephine a feral cat living in California in the 1960s. She was struck by a car and after she recovered, her kittens produced all the winning traits that would become the hallmark of the Ragdoll cat including large heavy build, soft downy fur, docility and laid-back personality. The original bloodlines of Ragdolls can be traced back to Ann Baker’s Ragdoll cats. It was she who developed the breed from the original Josphine. Ragdolls are beautiful, friendly, loving cats know as gentle giants of the cat world.
