Ragdoll Cat Adventures Part Two

Keeping Me Busy

They are still all getting on so well. There are now play-fighting with each (carefully of course, no injuries), snuggling up to each other and licking each other. So lovely to see. At the moment it does seem to be a bit of a merry-go-round of feeding, playing, using their litter trays, and then I clean up any mess and empty out the poos and wees. It seems when one goes then the others all need to go! When I cleaned out all the trays (four of them) on Tuesday this week, the moment I put them back, Leo decided he needed to go. He does a squitty poo and chucks litter everywhere! So back to cleaning again. I don’t mind though.

I long ago accepted that having kittens and especially having pedigree Ragdoll kittens, they would need a lot of looking after and attention. I do treat them as if they were my own children, I am not embarrassed to say. The love they give me in return is so worth all the messes and irritations.

I do need to work on some training though as Leo and Charlie are a bit naughty, especially with their claws! I have been scratched a few times when they get excited and they haven’t realized that they are hurting me so need to stop that behavior sooner rather than later. Otherwise, they are relatively well-behaved. They haven’t scratched the furniture or been destructive around the house and toileting behaviors from all four are absolutely fine.

Fingers crossed this continues.
